When we wanted a local designer to update our website, we chose Thomas Marsden based on the recommendation of a colleague. It turns out Shamus Dollin was an excellent choice! I have commissioned several websites over the years and this was so trouble-free it felt like a dream. From the start, Shamus just seemed to 'get' what we wanted. Our walking club struggled for some years with our web site with the first version published as an "add on" to another party's site and the second version developed using a US hosting service (who could only be effectively contacted by e-mail and who often failed to respond to service requests). The result of these early attempts was our site was "user unfriendly" and difficult (if not almost impossible) to keep up to date and so failed to achieve its aim of introducing prospective new members to the club and keeping existing members up to date with what was happening in the club. After deciding we had to do something better using a local service provider, we engaged Thomas Marsden to develop and host our new site. Thomas Marsden very quickly understood what we were trying to achieve and produced a modern, functional and attractive site. Being a recreational club our finances are limited but Thomas Marsden came up with a package that was within our means and came up with a design that achieves everything we need. All of the personnel we have dealt with at Thomas Marsden have been friendly, helpful and responsive - in particular we would like to thank Shamus Dollin for leading our project and to thank the other staff in Thomas Marsden who worked on the project.
